Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarships from USBC
The Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarships from the USBC (United States Bowling Congress) was created in memory of Earl Anthony who was a one of the best left-handed bowler’s of all time. He was the winner of 41 Professional Bowlers Association National Tour Titles & seven PBA Senior Titles.
Earl Anthony was nick named “The Machine” because he was so consistent in bowling. He won a million dollars quicker than anyone in the sport.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Annually there are five $5,000 bowling scholarships passed out each and every year primarily for community service &academic achievement as well.
All applicants must be a member of USBC senior in high school or presently enrolled in college, and have a 3.0 GPA.There must be two letters of references along with official transcripts too. New Brunswick Theological Seminary Scholarships Grants
Located in New Brunswick New Jersey & Jamica New York is the New Brunswick Theological Seminary which is an inter-cultural, ecumenical school of Christian faith and learning. They describe themselves a college who “participates in God’s own laboring to fulfill God’s reign on earth”.
Annually 50 seminary scholarships grants are awarded and the nice thing about their scholarship program is they are working very hard at increasing this too – it’s their top priority to do so. They have nine various awards now for all types of categories in which you can apply to.

Goldsmiths University of London scholarships for refugees & Asylum Seekers
In response to the refugee displacement crisis’, Goldsmiths is answering the call by having scholarships grants specifically for them. £140,000 annually in awards are given out for three postgraduate, and 3 undergraduate students.Maintenance bursaries are also awarded as well all the way up to £10,000 a year. Goldsmiths’ (3) academic Schools each will equally split these awards.
Goldsmiths Students Union (GSU) was very active in the setting up of these scholarships and grants for asylum seekers and refugees.
Goldsmiths University of London describes themselves as “a close-knit community, a rich academic heritage, a creative powerhouse, and a thought-provoking place” who provides educational opportunities for people of New Cross. GU was established in 1891 as technical and Re-creative Institute in nature.
Oakwood University Scholarships
Oakwood University; located in Huntsville, Alabama, is a historically black university along with being a Seventh-day Adventist institution, and whose mission statement is that “they try to transform students through a biblically-based education for service to God & humanity as well”.
The below are their scholarships grants help programs and awards.
Scholarships & Grants Student Assistance Programs
- Academic Works – must have a 2.0 GPA or higher to apply.
- Renewal Criteria for OU Academic Scholarships – 2.5 GPA (required 2nd yr.) 2.75 (3rd yr.) 3.00 (4th yr.)
- Scholarship Development UNCF/OU – program to assist students in applying for the most scholarships as possible.
Oakwood University Scholarships & Grants
Valedictorian/Salutatorian Scholarship – graduate as a Valedictorian/Salutatorian and receive $5,500 to $7,500 in scholarships and student grants!
Academic Scholarships – entering freshmen with at least a 2.00 GPA are considered for various awards!
Student Training Entrepreneurial Program (STEP) – designed to cover 20% of their student cost. Students participate in LETC training (writing)!
Church Subsidy Matching Scholarship Program – OU will match up to 30% for students getting church subsidies!
Debt Amnesty Program – programs for returning students offering student debt forgiveness!
Scholarships & Database Searches – Oakwood offers students places for them to research out many student scholarships & grants from many unique obscure databases which have proven invaluable to past students for financial aid.
For instance minority students are directed to places offering unclaimed scholarships for them to apply to. Disabled students as well can apply to them.
