J.F Drake State Community and Technical College Institutional Scholarship
This scholarship program is designed to cover the cost of tuition for every semester. This therefore means that you have it renewed each and every semester of the academic year. There are certain requirements that you have to meet to be eligible, of course apart from meeting the deadlines stipulated in the application guide.
The deadlines for application usually differ from one student category to the other, but generally they are available up to different dates in March, July and October, depending on the semester program for that academic year. Due to the variable nature of the number of applicants and the availability of funding for the scholarships, the dates can change from time to time.
J.F Drake State Community and Technical College Criteria
The regular admission requirements must be met, the student has to make available the official transcripts for their college or high school and bring forth a letter of recommendation from their school, preferably from their principal, instructor or counselor, or anyone within the capacity to provide one.
Class enrollment is capped at 12 hours per semester for you to be eligible for this scholarship and you must have attained a GPA of at least 3.0 if graded on a 4.0 scale. J.F Drake State Community and Technical College Institutional Scholarship – Leadership
With an application deadline running into early March (depending on the official semester dates for the academic year) this technology scholarship program is provided to cover half of the cost of tuition and the fees for the semester. Students who are eligible must meet 2.5 GPA grading, provide and meet the official admission requirements and be enrolled for up to 12 hours in the semester in which they are applying for consideration.
Aerojet Scholarship
The applicants that are targeted for these scholarships grants are high school graduates and first semester students who enroll in any program at J.F Drake State Community and Technical College that can/will lead up to a career in advanced manufacturing. Though application is open to anyone who is eligible, priority is often given to those students who have been registered for courses in either of the following course programs:

Senior Adult Scholarship
The state of Alabama in conjunction with J.F Drake State Community and Technical College offer these scholarships to residents who are 60 years and above that have passed the admission requirements set by the college, and meet the admission standards.
It is often provided based on the availability of space, and as a result it only covers tuition fees, while the applicant meets the other fees like laboratory, books and supplies fees and other institutional and additional expenses.
